This eight-piece band with vocalist, led by trombonist, Art Baron, is comprised of alumni from Duke Ellington’s band.  They perform “an invigorating mixture of Ellington coloration with fresh approach and adventurous repertoire” (New York Times).

The Duke’s Men will entertain in the 8th major benefit concert NCMC/Nantucket School of Music has presented on Nantucket.  Their performance promises to be a thrilling evening of big band music, complete with opportunities for dancing in the aisles.  With the outstanding heritage of Duke Ellington, this evening of fun should not be missed!
